I am highly experienced in retail sales such as , Salon products, fine jewelry, clothing, makeup and skin products. I am also an experienced server/host. I love working with people and helping in any way I can. I have many different passions. I love music, and have played the violin for 15 years. I also enjoy doing makeup and skin services. Make up is something I wish to pursue in my future. I am attending medical school for a career based job in medical assisting. Makeup as a side job is something I'm hoping for later in my future. I was awarded compliment cards with almost every client I worked on when I worked for EDGE BEAUTY. Something I am very proud of. I attended medical school the first time in 2010 and had to leave because I was in a sever car accident in where I broke my left arm and right ankle, I was in a wheel chair for about 6 months and was unable to walk or move my arm. Doing anything without help was nearly impossible. This opened my eyes to the medical world even more. I love helping people and If I could bring the same satisfaction upon others that was brought to me by all the doctors, surgeons, nurses and physical therapists, I would feel more than accomplished. This was the final push that made me realize being a medical assistant is right for me. I knew I wanted to help people after I went through this experience.
Makeup is also a huge passion of mine, along with skin care. I have been involved in the cosmetic world since I was a baby. My mom was a CHANEL rep and traveled all over. She taught me everything and encouraged me to take my talents to the test. Doing makeup makes me happy, I enjoy it, but more importantly enjoy the satisfaction of the customer , and that keeps me wanting to continue looking for the right cosmetic job .
I have also had experience in the medical field. Working in clinics and using medical equipment while attending medical training for a medical assistant. Very good on computers and can type fast.
Working in the makeup field it isn't always easy to find the right look for certain skin tones and I excelled at this while working for EDGE BEAUTY. I made my clients feel extremely comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure I spent enough time finding the right products for them. One lady was so pleased that I could find a color to go with her skin tone she wrote a letter from her business to my work telling them how important I was to have on board and how happy I made her when she left. It is things like that make me want to work even harder and have made me feel that all my hard work paid off.
Applied makeup to clients. Directed them to the products I was knowledgeable on and helped them find anything they needed. Cleaned and maintained products. Made sure to always restock when needed, change out trash, and help when other brands had their event days.
Worked at the EDGE BEAUTY counter. Was in charge of knowing about over 60 different products and 11 different brands. Opened and closed the store. Performed over the phone meetings with out of state EDGE BEAUTY reps. Held events, created and designed sets for my work stations. Replenished and designed counter.
I was in charge of an entire kiosk for little girls dance clothing and hair accessories. I was in charge of inventory and watching the entire business for 8 hours a day. I opened and closed the kiosk at night. Putting the tent over everything and pad locking it down. I was in charge of the bank deposit slips and hiring people at the 2 other locations we had in CO springs and Littleton. I worked there until they went out of business in CO in January 2010.
