I am a recent college graduate with years of experience in managerial skills, report writing, analysis, retail and customer service. My experience spans internationally, dealing with customers from all corners of the globe with different needs and communication styles.Through my managerial experience in the United States Army Reserves, I am skilled at time management, preparing presentations, working in groups to achieve common goals, and coordinating events.
I currently command and coordinate 3-4 military intelligence Soldiers and non commissioned officers in my department. I assess risks associated with friendly/enemy courses of action and act to counter/neutralize intelligence threats.I use intelligence systems and data to reduce uncertainty for a commander, and track any battalion statistics or numbers to keep my commander and his highers updated with the Battalion status and progress. I perform collection management/surveillance/reconnaissance and provide my superiors with advice.
I ensured the safety and satisfaction of patrons and performed chemical maintenance in an Olympic sized facility. I was the first responder for an entire fitness facility, and assisted in saving lives in four separate incidences. I was in charge of writing reports for these incidences, including risk management to prevent such instances from happening a second time. I also worked the front desk in an office setting, filing reports, and orienting new clients to the facilities as well as explaining the required signed contract needed to use the facilities. As a manager, I worked with Egyptian local hire while in Cairo, assisting them in their English while interacting with American clients, as well as instructing and certifying them in First Aid, CPR and AED skills. I managed scheduling hours and payroll for over 20 employees. I was also a Water Safety Instructor and taught all levels of swimming to French and Arabic-only speaking students during my tenure as a lifeguard.
During my time as a cadet, I was in leadership positions for all three years. I was the Battalion Commander for a total of six months, in charge of 150 cadets and their weekly training, as well as maintaining their physical fitness, and revising and enforcing a battalion wide mentorship program. I was in charge of planning two Field Training Exercises each four days in duration, accommodating for approximately 700 cadets and their accountability and training. As Battalion S2 intelligence officer, I was in charge of tracking all the numbers related to the Battalion's performance, analyze them to assist in further planning to improve their performances, and create power point presentations in formats easy to comprehend ready to be viewed at any time by the Battalion commander.
I helped start and set up a new restaurant dealing with a variety of customers, from all over the world as well as local American customers all trying Middle Eastern food, a new experience to the town. I managed accounts, schedules, served as a hostess and cashier arranging tables, dividing them between servers. I also managed the store's Facebook page, which served as their local advertising and promotion source.
Coursework in Linguistics, English Writing and Literature, Intensive Grammar and Language Structure, as well as other language courses.I was able to complete my degree in three years due to my college course work completed in High School. I was a member of Army ROTC, awarded a four year scholarship. I was also a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, completing over 20 hours in community service a semester. I was a member of the Honors College, and received the Arabic Hall of Fame award for my achievements in Arabic classes as well as teaching Arabic to other students in the program. I maintained a 3.65 GPAwhile working at a minimum two part time jobs at a time, taking over 21 hours worth of coursework a semester, as well as completing Army training averaging 15 hours per week.
