  • A package handler starts their work day with reading and marking the packaging labels.
  • They also measure and weigh these packages while thoroughly examining to ensure packing specifications are constantly met.
  • To ensure prompt delivery, this is where proper recording of the packages starts.
  • Properly labeled packages are then sent for scanning and sorting.
  • Packaging labels are equipped with barcodes which are constantly scanned from the time the package received from the sender up to time it reaches its destination.
  • It does not only let the client and the company tracks their packages, but also a way to check if it arrives damaged or stolen.
  • Packages goes through another thorough inspection before sending to their specific chutes and ultimately to their specific loading docks.
