Summary

My reason for becoming a lawyer was because I wanted to put criminals in jail. I have successfully reached that goal by being an assistant county attorney and District Judge. As District Judge, I presided over more than 10,000 cases each year. Furthermore, I have always practiced law in Eastern Kentucky and tried to help people of all economic statuses. This area and its people are very dear to my heart. My civil clients and complainants in criminal cases develop personal relationships with me as we proceed through their cases. I try to be a shoulder for them to lean on, and if hired for this position, I would try to be a shoulder for my students and advisees to lean on.
