Developed Individual Education Programs (IEP) to establish student outcome goals and define educational strategies; leveraged developmental practices and educational theories to achieve educational objectives.
Developed Behavior Intervention Plans based on FBA data.
Taught all content for students with IEPs in 6th grade from 2015-2016.
Co- taught reading for 5th, 6th, 7th grade for 2016-2017, including 1 self contained reading class for high needs students in 7th grade.
Co-Taught reading for 8th grade for 2017-2018 while also being a grade level chair.
Supported staff and student culture as a grade level chair, including balancing the grade level budget, planning field lessons in and out of the state, planning our LLS fundraiser, and co-launching KACP's first StuCo.
Established positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers and school administrators.
In 2017-2018 60% of 8th grade students with IEPs passed their STAAR Reading assessment. 15% of 8th grade students achieved Met on STAAR Reading.
In 2017- 2018 80% of 8th grade students with IEPs met their CRGT on reading MAP.
Placed at stage 3 on TCP first placement year.
