  • Shortly after being hired as a clerk, I was promoted to a shift leader position where I was the manager for the shift and took on more duties and responsibilities at the frozen yogurt restaurant.
  • After a year in that position, I was promoted to Senior Shift Leader, in charge of the other shift leaders, and finally promoted to Assistant Manager.
  • As an assistant manager, I was responsible for payroll, shipping/inventory, scheduling, etc.

  • Volunteer Service Vacation Bible School: I helped volunteer at the Vacation Bible School put on by my church (Faith Bible Church, Sycamore Ohio). I helped in various activities such as snacks, music, or registration. Vacation Bible School Total Hours: 126 Short Term Missionary: Each summer I volunteer at a Joni and Friends family retreat in Maranatha Michigan, where I spend the week serving as an assistant to families with a special needs family member, helping them through the activities. Joni and Friends Total Hours: 252 Matthew 25 Ministries: Matthew 25 is a nonprofit organization in Blue Ash Ohio that focuses on humanitarian aid. While volunteering there, I help package and sort various supplies to be shipped out. Matthew 25 Ministries Total Hours: 105 Campus and Community Day: November 3, 2015 marked the 13th annual campus-wide service day. In honor of the community reaching out to union following the tornado that devastated Union's Campus, the entire student body participates in various service activities around the community as a means of giving back. This year, I helped rake leaves and trim bushes at Highland Park Community Church. Carl Perkins Christmas: Student Activities Council sponsors the Carl Perkins Christmas party, which provides a safe and fun Christmas party for children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds of drug abuse and violence. This year, I helped organize the party as well as act as the representative for SAE and sponsored two children, buying them gifts on their Christmas lists. Extracurricular Activities National Honor Society: As a member of National Honor Society, I volunteer at many charity events and fundraisers. I am a co-chair for Operation Christmas Child where I coordinated and oversaw the packaging and shipping out of Christmas gifts for impoverished children around the world. Total Hours: 200 Youth Group: I am an active member of my church youth group. I often lead worship playing the piano. I also participate in many local volunteer events and mission's trips. Grades 7,8,9,10,11,12 Total Hours: 780 Track and Field: I am a varsity track and field sprinter for mason high school. I placed first at the JV GMC District championships, as well as placing at many Varsity meets, including the indoor OSU meet.
