I grew up in Auburn, Alabama so I have seen this city go through some major changes. One of the biggest changes being growth in our shopping areas and development in our tiny city. I still remember Tiger Town being built and thinking how great that would be! Now, I'm thrilled to see new shopping locations and opportunities for jobs around our city!
I was only 18 years old when I had my beautiful little girl, Lilah. I graduated high school 7 months pregnant, in heels. I never gave up on my dreams, however. I started college one semester behind at Southern Union, and transfered to Auburn University last semester. Because of this life changing experience, I've had to do a lot of groing up in a short amount of time.

I am currently an Assistant Manager at Kinnucan's in Auburn. I started out a team member, running the sales floor with my team. I was then promoted to team leader about 5 months after starting. Then I was promoted to Assistant manager less than 6 months later. Here I am required to make sure all zones in our store are occupied with an employee, create a fun and guest friendly environment, handle any unhappy or upset guest, send hourly reports with conversion and other numbers, close the store and open the store, arrive promptly for each shift, send closing reports at the end of the night, create a deposit slip and close down four registers, make sure the team is taken care of, and making sure our store is neat and organized!
I am also required to assure all displays are looking up to standards and have product knowledge. I create mannequins and displays every week and merchandise all the merchandise that arrives to our store. I am familiar with all the brands and keep up with all the newest trends that are going around our campus to better help the guest in our area.
I have managed as few as 4 team members and as many as 10 team members. I've worked major holidays and during Auburn football season! So I understand the rush and how to handle such tasks.
My first Job was Marco's Pizza in Auburn. I began working there the first day it opened. In my opinion, I believe food service is a great first job to get experience with guest and customer service. I worked there as long as I possibly could. (I was pregnant and the smell started to make me sick.) I was trained to answer phones, take orders on a computer, run the register, make pizzas in a orderly and timely fashion, and keep all the guest happy that came into our store.
I obtained my associates degree in two years form SUSCC.
I completed high school with a 4.0 and honors in 2011.
In progress at Auburn University - Currently a Junior.
