Assistant Field Office DirectorDHS/ICE/ERO － Atlanta, GAAs an Assistant Field Office Director (AFOD), I was responsible for the day to day operations of my assigned units. The units I supervised included Mission Support, Secure Communities, Criminal Alien Program, 287G programs, Detention, Detained and Non-Detained Units. I was also responsible for the Management Referral/Inquiries (MR) that were assigned to the Atlanta Field Office. My duties included reviewing all MRs, assigning the inquiries to the field officers with a deadline, tracking the MRs and their deadlines, and then reviewing the MRs for completeness and correctness for the Field Office Director's signature.

Supervisory Detention & Deportation OfficerDHS/ICE/ERO － Atlanta, GAAs a Supervisory Detention & Deportation Officer (SDDO), I was assigned to various units to include the Travel Unit, Detained Docket Unit and Criminal Alien Program. I was also responsible for the implementation and hands-on training of all the deputies assigned to the Gwinnett County 287g program. Within one month of the implementation, Gwinnett County 287g became known as a model program and ranked within the top nationwide.

Deportation OfficerDHS/ICE/ERO － Atlanta, GA
I entered on duty as a Deportation Officer in the Atlanta Field Office in September 2006 and was assigned to the Detained Docket Unit. I was responsible for up to 200 cases at any given time. I reviewed every case for possible relief under Immigration and Nationality Laws, prepared correspondence, forms and documents, prepared cases for removal, conducted Post Order Custody Reviews and prepared sworn declarations to United States Attorneys in response to writs filed in United States courts.
I was also assigned to be the Consular Liaison for the Atlanta Field Office. As the Consular Liaison, I was responsible for reviewing and correcting every travel document requests from the other officers assigned to the Detained Docket. I also arranged and conducted interviews on behalf of various Consulate Offices and Embassies.
I was also assigned the duties of the Atlanta Field Office Victim Witness Coordinator. My duties included informing the victims/witnesses of detainees who were in ICE custody of any pertinent movements, case updates and releases or removals.

Supervisory Border Patrol AgentU.S. Customs and Border Protection － El Paso, TX
I entered on duty with the 276th session of the United States Border Patrol in December 1994 at the El Paso Station, El Paso, Texas. My duties included line watch, anti-smuggling, and transportation check of freight trains, passenger trains and airlines. I was also detailed to the Criminal Alien Program where I was responsible for conducting jail checks, interviewing subjects, placing detainers on subjects and setting subjects up for deportation proceedings when applicable.
As a Border Patrol Agent, I was also detailed to the training unit where I was responsible for the post academy training and evaluation of Border Patrol trainees.
I was trained and certified as an All-Terrain Vehicle officer and instructor. I was also selected as one of the first 200 National Border Patrol Recruiters in
1999 and in 2001, I was awarded the El Paso Sector Recruiter of the year.
In 2003, I was promoted to a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent. I was responsible for the performance work plans for my unit while also accountable for the day to day operations.
