Since 1984 I have built a career in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel (NB) industries. I have held positions in the design, fabrication, inspection, quality control, testing, auditing, repair and alteration of most ASME boilers, pressure vessels, power piping and safety valves. Positions held include draftsman, designer, estimator, project manager, quality control manager, salesman, authorized inspector, authorized inspector supervisor and ASME/NB joint review team leader. I have 30-plus years of first-hand knowledge and experience working with ASME Sections I, II, IV, V, VIII, IX, XII, B31.1, NB-23 and CSA-B51. I have led and managed as many as ten direct reports.
