Experience
Sheltering Arms - ASB Treasurer/Junior Senator
Betances Day Care Center, NY, 08/2017 - 06/2019
  • I helped created a budget for the school year that ASB had to follow.
  • Approve PO Boxes for certain events and supplies needed to help create those events.
  • Aside from handling money, I also helped plan school year long events, one of the big ones being Homecoming and Sports Assemblies.
  • One of my favorite events was when the elementary schools visited the school to learn more about their next stop of their education.
  • We gave them tours as well as interacted with them, so they wouldn't feel nervous or scared about a new place that would be their home for the next 6 years.
  • Overall, it was a great year that has made an impact on the school spirit within the students.
Warrensburg Schools - Mentor
Warrensburg, MO, 07/2018 - 05/2019
  • In August, we'd host an orientation for incoming freshmen to get a feel of what it's like to be a high school student at Mayfair High School.
  • 2 mentors consisting of Juniors and Seniors receive a list of freshmen that we "mentor" throughout the year.
  • We check up on them and see how they're doing in school every so often.
  • We offer tutoring sessions before every finals week, so that the freshmen wouldn't feel overwhelmed.
  • We help support them every step of the way until their freshmen year is over.
  • Talked with individuals, sharing positive life experiences to encourage improved self-esteem and boost socialization.
Whole Foods Market - Teacher Aide
Darien, IL, 07/2018 - 05/2019
  • I helped supervise and control students during class when the lead teacher is not present.
  • Gave the info to the substitute teacher, so they would know the expectations and where the instructions were held from the lead teacher.
  • I maintained and cleaned up the room when the lead teacher didn't have big jobs for me.
  • Completed the task every single day.
  • Since I was the aide of an art teacher, I helped prepare for the art show by setting up and labeling the artwork of the students.
  • Participating in the teacher aide program gave us credit for graduation if needed as well as experience.
  • Established positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers and school administrators.
  • Distributed classroom materials and supplies such as pencils, paper and art materials.
  • Performed diverse tasks for teacher, including classroom management and document coordination.
Chick-Fil-A Inc. - Team Member

  • Built and maintained effective working relationships with peers and upper management.
  • Contributed to team safety and productivity by removing safety hazards and keeping areas neat and well-stocked.
  • Upheld food safety standards at all times.
  • Sanitized and kept work areas tidy by cleaning surfaces, equipment and floors, removing trash and maintaining machinery.
  • Maintained order and cleanliness of work areas to conform with health codes.

Awards

Honor Roll

(All 4 years)

Principal of Mayfair High School

I was on the Honor Roll list since the 7th grade. Our school placed you in a specific category of honor roll (Honors, High Honors and Highest Honors). I was placed on the highest honors list all throughout high school, never once stepping down in the category below it. My grades always mattered to me and it can be shown through this.

PTA Scholarship

05/2019

Craig Williams Elementary PTA

In the Bellflower School District, elementary school PTAs send out applications to the high schools to fill out for a chance to win a scholarship. I was lucky enough that my old elementary school awarded me a scholarship for my college career and for that I am forever grateful. It may not have been much, but it could go towards something I'm in need of.

Fine Arts Award

04/2016

Principal of Mayfair High School

Being only a freshmen in a prestigious art program, I was competing with 75 other students within the program for this award. It's given every year between grades 9-11. This award is given to the student who exemplifies mastery in the subject, so given this award as a freshman, new to the program and just starting out, gave me the confidence I needed in my artwork and also in school related activities.
President's Honor List

01/2020 - Present
President of the California State University - Long Beach

Honor roll list for those with a GPA of 3.80 or higher.
