Perform Inspections and provide guidance for proper completion of all maintenance tasks and modifications on aircraft Airframe, Rotor systems, Powertrain systems, Power plant systems, Hydraulic-pneumatic systems and Flight control systems, Electrical and Avionic systems. Manages entries to the aircraft logbook using ACN maintenance and component historical records locally and on the Army MCDS website. Maintains compliance with the aircraft safety of flight program messages and records. Maintains accurate entries to aircraft logbook and oil sampling record. Ensures proper aircraft weighing procedures for type and provides calculations on weight and balance per airframe. Instruct and advise aircraft mechanics on repair methods and processes in accordance with Army aircraft technical manuals, Blueprints, Authorized MEC depot level repairs and quality control procedures. Monitor and Inspect application of the U.S. Army Aircraft Painting Program in accordance with the applicable technical manual.
