I volunteered for early deployment upon completion of Aircraft Fuel Systems Journeyman certification. I deployed with my unit, the 302nd MXS (Maintenance Squadron) and performed maintenance on multiple airframes such as C-130s, KC-135 and J-STARS. I worked along side various active duty, guard and reserve Air Force members greatly furthering my job knowledge.
As a personnelist at the Air Reserve Personnel Center(ARPC) I am assigned to the Reserve Separations section. I am in charge of control rosters for Air Force reservists who are separating from the military. I process member's discharge paper work while simultaneously performing customer service by answering phones and responding to online tickets created by customers.
My job consists of reparation and preventative maintenance of fleet containing multiple different models of forklifts. I supervise and perform daily maintenance of refrigeration system containing 24,000 lbs. of Anhydrous Ammonia. I perform general building maintenance of facility including but not limited to inspections and repairs.
My duty title contains various tasks such as troubleshooting aircraft fuel systems. I am required remove and replace components such as fuel boost pumps, fuel lines and manifolds. I am also qualified to manage the fuel management panel's fuel indication system.
