I review and analyze a wide variety of commercial documents such as carrier's , importers, and exporters, manifests, permits, certificates entries, invoices, and associated documents: to establish the validity, authenticity, admissibility, and extent of inspection/ examination determination of merchandise or cargo; and to determine levels of risk for possible violations of laws and threats to national security, economic and agricultural interest. I identified and targeted high risk shipments and conveyances for examination. Conducted a wide range of record checks using a variety of databases and systems to identify associated risks. Used databases to place lookouts and holds on targeted shipments and conveyances.
I have created and used established field techniques to recognize the presence and or symptoms of quarantine plant pests and diseases, prohibited packing materials and or other quarantine specific material. I am highly trained and capable of distinguishing between domestic pest and those pest that are potentially dangerous to American agriculture industry. I have planned, conducted overseen treatments such as disinfection,sterilization, decontamination, fumigation,etc of plant pest, contaminants, prohibited agricultural material and conveyances.
