As one of two Rubber Worker Leaders on 2nd Shift WL-4301-09, worked with supervision and chain of command on delegation and implementation of all production orders to be filled. pass on instructions from supervision, work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines and supervision relies on me to assure that all work assignments are carried out by the other members of the shift. Overall work operations are reviewed for status and progress, any cause of delays, other problems or issues that may arise. always assure that the Lean processes are implemented, applied, and used to its fullest potential. am responsible for managing the floor and the workers on the shift. This is usually a minimum of 3 but regularly as many of 25 employees. I receive duties and instructions from supervision and delegate them to the workers by assigning them tasks that need to performed by the shift. ensure there is ample work to keep each employee busy for the duration of the shift. I check work in progress and when finished, I check for compliance with supervisions instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. demonstrate proper work methods to insure that work is done correctly and in a timely manner. answer any questions from employees regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, or other directives. keep supervision informed of work progression, production numbers, or any matters that occur on the floor. ensure employees are properly trained to perform any tasks assigned and provide on-the-job-training as needed. assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed and assure that all workers are fully aware of applicable rules and regulations, SOPS, and standards of work. always assure the work of second shift is performed at the highest level of quality possible, is performed in a manner that creates the least amount of waste, and is performed in the most economical way possible. am responsible for the employees on shift and the work performed, and strive to insure that all workers on the shift and the work performed exceeds all standards and requirements that have to be met. work along side coworkers, always setting the pace, and making sure that all tasks are completed. use journeyman and leadership knowledge of all processes involved in roadwheel and track disassemble and rebuild, knowledge of measuring instruments such as gauges, protractors, or lab results, knowledge of materials utilized for rubber rebuild processes, and knowledge of the Lean 6 Sigma to ensure all production orders are meet on time and to the utmost quality. use ability to advise/assist and or direct lower grade workers on second shift in the full range of rebuild and tear down work and processes, to again always accomplish the required tasks. am one of two employees Certified on the Fluidized Bed on second shift. have extensive knowledge of the Tire Shop from the breakdown to complete rebuild of HEMTT, HMMWV, PLS, Cougar, Kalmar, LTAS, Max Pro, FMTV, 4K, 10K, and 5K Fuel Tanker Trailer tires. have knowledge and the ability and am proficient entering and keeping track of employees attendance through RRAD's LMP, ESS, and ATAAPS programs. am also proficient and utilize ZCATTS2, ZCOIS, and Intelex daily to record each employees work and production orders and the specific time each order carries. have knowledge of PIDCS, Drum and Pull tests. have attended and been involved in several depot wide and Rubber Products specific LEAN RIE's. have also done a 120 temp detail to the LEAN program and been involved any several 5S and RIE's while there. As an Acting Supervisor, Work Leader, union vice-president, WG-09 and WG-07 rubber worker, I declare that I am competent in the current Acting Rubber Worker Supervisor Leader job that I am performing and that I posses all knowledge and abilities mentioned above.
Have worked in every area of rubber products. Am proficient in chemical vats to include all chemistry, denuding, and am certified to operate Fluidized Bed. Have experience in all track and road wheel processes from both tear down, clean and prep, to include past experience as Injection Mold Operator. Am knowledgeable and have experience in all aspects of these processes and more..
- am responsible for setting up and meeting with upper management for both disciplinary and informational purposes.

- schedule and coordinate all yearly training for 25 plus stewards, executive staff members, and e-board members

- coordinate and meet regularly with National Elected Officials from our National Office
- attend Annual Lobby events on behalf of RRAD on Capital Hill
