  • As the primary timekeeper for the Legal Strategy section for the Law Department, it is important for me to stay organized and knowledgeable of employee's leave status throughout the week. Reviewing their attendance and collecting their PS Form 3971's is a daily priority. I use the attendance log to gather information to enter into the TACS system, allowing for accurate submission. All reports are then printed out for review and approval by my supervisor. All of the steps that I follow ensure employee's information is correct and minimum pay adjustments needed, which is a cost savings to the USPS.
  • I utilize Microsoft Outlook 2010 via ACE3 as an information manager. This program allows me to respond to inquiries about various matters either orally or by email I have access to research folders which I have created or ones that others have publically shared. I also have access to various applications within Outlook to include contacts, calendars, note taking and task manager for quick responses. I ensure that prompt and detailed information is routed to the appropriate managers for their disposition.
  • I am tasked with providing various travel information via the TripManager, after locating flights, car rentals and hotels needed, travel arrangements are then reserved or purchased. When the traveler returns, I collect the receipts and documents necessary, scan and create an expense report through eTravel. Electronically, the report is returned back to the traveler for their submission for approval. An electronic file is created allowing easy access if needed in the future.
  • When coworkers are on leave from the Law Department, on many occasions I have been asked to provide coverage for various tasks during their absence. I prioritize their needs while combining them with my own department needs. Keeping a folder containing the tasks needing coverage, as well as a calendar during their absence, I was able to complete all projects/tasks competently and in a timely manner.
