In my work history, I have held a variety of positions and have experience in different industries. In each position, I have always been excited to learn new things and go above and beyond what my position requires. I am anxious to learn and take on responsibilities, quick at picking up new things, and always strive to do any task to the best of my ability. I am now very excited to gain some professional experience in areas based on the college education I have now acquired. I am planning on entering law school in the fall of 2014. I am very interested in land use laws, especially those affecting Allegany County, considering that I have been a resident of Allegany County since 2010. I believe that an internship opportunity with Allegany County government would be a great fit for me, as it combines my legal interests, land use interests, and political science background.

I took six Advanced Placement courses while at the high school, and all other courses were honors. I was always on the honor roll while playing three varsity sports.
Began the job with a basic job description of stuffing envelopes, and doing spreadsheet entries, but throughout the length of my employment I have gained more responsibilities. Some of these more advanced responsibilities include, drawing up floor plans and then using computer software to duplicate them, managing marketing aspects of the company, reconciling statements, paying bills, and many others. I also am only the only other person in the company, besides the accountant, that knows how to enter rates for the vacation homes into the software that the company uses. This position has also given me experience in an administrative environment.
I began as a hostess and busser, but quickly got promoted to morning server. After about a year, I was then promoted again to evening server. I have since been granted managerial clearance for the computer system, as well as serve as acting manager in the restaurant whenever the current manager is not in the office. I have taken on the responsibility of training new servers, and managing the customer service of other servers.
Responsible for checking out customers, managing gas prices, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
Responsible for ringing up customers orders, making the orders, running the drive-thru, and expediting the orders correctly. After being there two months, I was offered a manager position.
