Prior to enlisting in the Marine Corps, I was a Lifeguard on Parris Island for two years. I only worked summers but made sure that all of my CPR, spinal, and life-saving techniques required to be a lifeguard were completed on time. While working as a lifeguard, I successfully saved three adults and one child from potentially drowning from lack of swimming knowledge in the deep end of the pool. I enlisted into the Marine Corps on the date of July 21, 2014. I graduated boot camp as a squad leader and company top rifleman on the date of October 03, 2014. From boot camp, I was placed in the school of infantry-east on Camp Geiger, NC for Marine Combat training, where I was also a squad leader for the whole time there. From SOI-EAST, I received my primary MOS of 4612- Graphic Reproduction Specialist and went to Fort Meade, MD for a years worth of training. While there, I received college credits in graphic design and visual arts while maintaining a spot in the schoolhouse as Squad 2-8's squad leader. After school, I received orders for the Pentagon to work for Headquarters Marine Corps Combat Camera as a graphics and combat photographer. I currently reside here on Fort Myer, VA. While in the Marine Corps, so far I have maintained the spot as a squad leader in all three training areas leading roughly 65 Marines in total effectively while performing my regular duties. I have received a secret security clearance, four certificates of appreciation, and three coins.
