Professional Summary

As a Marine Engineer, you are responsible for many different facets of the Operation of a vessel. The best way to imagine this is the following: if it is part of a city infrastructure, it is most likely on a vessel. Vessels are floating cities, the largest moving objects in the world.

As First Engineer you are directly in charge of all daily operations regarding the operation and maintenance of the vessel, You answer to the Chief Engineer and/or Master only. I have been working as a first engineer for approximately 12 years, and was recommended for promotion. However, there are no available jobs at this time.
