You might not think you can get a great new job because the job listing says something along the lines of "Requires five years of prior work experience." Many people stop reading at this point because they do not meet that threshold. Even if you only have two or three years of experience in the field, you should still apply. The important thing involves showing you have the skills and qualifications necessary to be an immediate asset to the company.
In the meantime, you can work to acquire the necessary experience to get this new job. Earn certifications or take internships to expand your qualifications.
