Functioned as a vital team member of both the written and telephone teams of the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Visa Office, Public Inquiries Division, which was dissolved and renamed as Office of Field Operations Outreach and Inquiries from 2009-2013.  My dedication and diligence helped to obtain permission to work as a DETO employee from the U.S. Embassies in Bogota and Panama City where I managed all responses for the Division's dedicated email box - - addressing visa inquiries worldwide from exchange visitors, prospective students, school administrators, exchange program coordinators, and parents with in-depth questions regarding the F, M (academic and nonacademic student) and J (exchange visitor) nonimmigrant visa categories.

As a written correspondence team member I drafted more than 500 responses annually on behalf of the White House, and more than 1,000 responses annually for the signature of the Secretary of State, Principal Officers, Assistant Secretaries, and other key officers which were sent to members of Congress, other government agencies, immigration attorneys, and the general public as a response to their inquiries regarding complex visa cases.

Prioritized and maintained my research of the INA and FAM, directly impacting my ability to answer 400 - 500 telephone inquiries weekly that covered a range of more than 200 different principal and derivative immigrant and nonimmigrant visa categories.
