  • As a Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer assigned to the Atlanta Field Office Secure Communities Unit, I ensure adherence to federal, state, local detention laws and regulations and to the ERO Performance Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS). In my supervisory role, I am responsible for the review and issuance of administrative immigration arrest warrants, complete risk classification assessments to determine arrest and or bond amount. I issue and review Notice to Appear cases to determine legal sufficiency and data quality integrity in our electronic database.
  • As a Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer I develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure best practices for custody management and case processing of aliens.  I supervise and review that all policies are upheld while transporting detainees. I develop, implement and review emergency contingency plans and participate in decisions related to transfers and evacuations while managing regional bed space limitations.  I provide management and oversight to the daily on-site monitoring of the intake facility to ensure compliance with ICE Detention Standards, policies and procedures and to ensure the health and welfare of detainees.
