I am currently working in a aquaculture pathobiology lab where I have worked on the pathogen invasion figure of an acanthocephalan worm in the Maine environment for three years. I have also aided Dr. Bricknell and Dr. Piesz during salmon vaccine trials in which I helped develop gel media for bacterial growth, PCR gels for genetic analysis of tissue samples, prepared fish for animal testing and maintained fish during experiments, I have also prepared several tissue samples for histology analysis and genetic analysis. I am committed to further advancing my understanding of pathobiology.
