I have 7 years of scrubbing, working along with surgeons to get the procedure done safely. With this role, I have learned to remain sterile to keep my patient safe, and my field. With traveling, I’ve learned to be open to working with new people. Fellows, residents, students, full time, part time, PRN etc. have been by my side daily to satisfy the patients needs. Im a quick learner and can do anything. I am a surgical technologists that will forever learn something new and, I am willing to do that to get the job done. Well-versed in sports medicine, total joint replacement, general surgery, GYN, GU, kidney transplant and plastic surgery procedures. I am able to pick up shifts or book them when needed. I am listed as their favorites. They’ll usually request for my assistance to help with them along with their surgeons.
Being a traveler at this facility, I was able to learn different specialities coming from an orthopedic hospital. Urology, General, and vascular. Spine and ortho is my top speciality, and they put me in those cases, while others did not do these particular cases. I’ve also done plastics and gynecology.
