Alcatel-Lucent – Plano, TX
A member of a national sales account team and solely responsible for all sales and customer satisfaction for my Verizon Wireless customer in two South Area Regions totaling six states in Southwest U.S. Duties include providing ALU product updates and knowledge transfer for all CDMA 3G/1X, EVDO, LTE/4G, Microwave, Optical and IPD offerings. Also heavily involved in selling numerous Professional Service offers (Installation, Integration, In-Building RF design and implementation, Site Acquisition) to this customers as part of my quota responsibilities. 

Successfully grew these two sales Regions over the last five years from ~ $80M to over $138M in orders and revenue. Utilizing my many years of telecom industry experience, I have established very good customer relationships at all levels from clerical to Managers to Directors and up to Executive Directors within the Network side of The Verizon Wireless company.  
Telecom Account Manager, 03/1995 to 12/2006
Lucent Technologies – Dallas, TX
As an Account Manager, I carried full sales and customer relationship management responsibilities for several, very important National Accounts.  Utilizing my interpersonal, leadership, communication, business management, and technical skills, I developed numerous meaningful and profitable relationships within the GTE, PrimeCo, and Verizon Wireless customer bases. Developed organizational ties into such customer bases as Product Standardization Management, Budget and Planning, RF and Performance, Traffic Engineering, Network Engineering, Switch Operations, Transport Engineering and Technology/Product Testing.

Responsible for bringing the full depth of Lucent corporate resources to my customers, including Product Management, Bell Labs Expertise, Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers.  Was key member on the initial team that won contract to displace a major competitor and assist my PrimeCo customer in building one of the first IS-95 CDMA networks on the North American continent.
Systems Engineer, 04/1991 to 03/1995
AT&T Network Systems – Irving, TX
Member of the GTE National Account Team in the Operations Systems sales unit. Responsible for supporting the entire sales team on various AT&T Wireline Telco Operations Systems.  Duties included system design and assurance as well as working with GTE's Product Standardization Group to gain product acceptance. Also responsible for project management functions for several multi-million dollar contracts to GTE.  Technical skills included low-speed switched data services, Frame Relay, SMDS, ATM Data Packet Switching, voice switch management systems and Telco Operations Systems.  Primary focus on all aspects of satisfying a large customer and attaining a group quota of $25 - $40M.
Data Systems Consultant, 07/1987 to 03/1991
AT&T Computer Systems – Dallas, TX
Responsible for pre-sale and post-sale technical support of AT&T computer and data networking hardware and software applications. Duties included system design, system assurance, implementation and troubleshooting of various types of networked computing solutions. Heavy emphasis on networking protocols (TCP/IP, StarLAN, Ethernet, etc.) and wide-area communications techniques (routers, brouters, data switching). Primary focus was to contribute toward customer satisfaction and achievement of a $1M group quota.  Clients included such major and national accounts as JCPenny, General Dynamics, Trammell Crow, Texas Instruments and others.
