As a Team Leader at Chick-Fil-A, I had many responsibilities.
-Managing shifts and placement charts.
-Taking phone calls, on the spot problem solving and filing customer complaints.
-Counting down drawers and the change fund.
-Computer skills and sales tracking.
-Having keys to the store, drawers, and storage shed and locking up at the end of the night.
-Managing upwards of 8 people per shift. I had to learn each individual's strengths and weaknesses and know how to place them accordingly.
-Time management, organizational skills, friendly customer service and 2nd mile service. 2nd mile service is simply going above and beyond average service and making a true connection with customers.
-Also basic custodial skills such as sweeping, moping, scrubbing floors, cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and keeping a tidy and organized front counter work space.
I may have extensive experience in fast food but I have also had experience in retail. I unfortunately did not work long at Pier One, but enjoyed working there when I did. I was working at Chick-Fil-A simultaneously and decided to work only full time at Chick-Fil-A.
As a decor sales associate I learned interesting new skills. I learned how to talk to customers in depth and really listen to what they were looking for. When you are helping an individual style their home, you first have to have a sense of what kind of person they are. So talking and listening became my strongest asset. I had already developed a sense of organization while working at Chick-Fil-A and working at Pier One Imports only heightened that skill. I also learned how to play with colors, patterns and textures.
I also had basic custodial duties such as sweeping, moping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms. But this was something I was used to, having worked at Chick-Fil-A.
I went to Stony Point High School for grade nine(9), then became home schooled, which lead to me achieving my G.E.D in 2011.
I have experience as a fast food team leader and customer service provider. I am friendly, outspoken and passionate about providing positive customer experiences. I believe that customers are at the center of what we do and their satisfaction is of the utmost importance. I like playing on a team and find that every situation is an opportunity to grow and learn new skills. I have up to date food handlers experience and know that food safety and cleanliness tie into having raving fans.
