  • Review rescission of coverage appeal documents and closed mortgage loans for adherence to originating company's underwriting guidelines to determine appropriate action on the mortgage insurance claim.
  • Research red flag items to determine if misrepresentation occurred during the course of the loan.
  • Reconfirm loan information through public records, interviews and other resources.
  • Review appeal investigations a submitted by team and deliver notification of denial or reversal of appeal as approved by management. , SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT:
  • Review foreclosed files to determine if fraud was conducted on original mortgage file
  • Re-underwrite file using all tools available to verify accuracy of documentation in file i.e. Accurint.com, blackbookonline.com, etc.
