My first desired job was to be an artist. Therefore, I went to school and majored in art. While I was there I learned that being an artist and getting paid was very unlikely in a farming community. So, I quit college and started working at the hospital in the kitchen. At the time, I was 20 years old. There I learned how to become a grown-up. I learned to cook, organize, multi-task, be a team player, be respectful of authority, appreciate others skills and talents, be neat and clean and sanitary! I also became a wife and mother of two during those years. I worked there for 8 1/2 years. Presently, I am employed as a teacher aide with kindergarten and first graders. I have been there for 27 years.
