Started as a security guard at the door then became a busser and advanced to a server. I was later trained to be the front of the house manager. After years of being a front of the house manager I then wound up managing the entire bar. In 1996 I left Rochester to help assist in the opening of a MacGregor's in Syracuse, NY. I was involved in the construction, hiring, interior design and layout of the restaurant, and managed the front and back of the house for about a year.
