  • BMC Atrium Integration Engine 7.1.00 Tools Used - BMC Remedy User Tool(connects to Action Request Server), TADDM, TDI Description of the project: The Configuration Management Database (CMDB), as defined by ITIL, provides a logical model of the infrastructure or a service by identifying, controlling, maintaining and verifying the versions of items in the production environment.
  • The CMDB is not necessarily one database, but more likely to be a solution that includes discovery, CMDB tools, and federated data stores.
  • CMDB is made up of Configuration items (CI's) and relationships between those CI's.
  • These CI's are discovered as a standard discovery process using TADDM.
  • Data from different systems is federated into CMDB using TDI and other tools.
  • My role: Understanding various project application like Atrium, TDi and TADDM both technically and functionally.
  • Created videos and UserGuides for the Customer(AT&T).
  • Understanding the Asset Management Console and the mappings and Relationships being created among assets, the way the data flows from various applications like WITTDB, Webphone, MOTS, IEDS, CMIT, Bessy etc.
