  • Directs a staff of Department of the Army Civilians (DAC) and Korean National (KN) civilian employees engaged in the performance and full range and scope of Human Resources (HR) duties that supports a Major Subordinate Command (MSC) consisting of more than 1400 Soldiers, Korean Augmentation to the US Army (KATUSA’s), DAC’s, and KN’s. The Signal Brigade has a unique requirement for supporting executive agent level requirements to our Joint and Coalition partners.
  • Duties include compiling relevant HR data and metrics from a host of personnel and payroll database systems to formulate and validate critical recruiting and hiring in support of organizational directives.
  • Maintains constant contact and interaction with HR management personnel partners to include CPAC, Eighth Army DHRM, USFK, the 311th Signal Command, and NETCOM HQ’s for organizational development and management.
  • Educates top level management and visitors on all aspects of the human capital program.
  • Serves as the commander's representative for all 1st Signal Brigade strategic workforce planning, personnel actions, and placement of individuals. Develops and recommends command wide policies and procedures associated with the full range of activities involved in the formulation and execution phases of the hiring process. Provides guidance on all HR and manpower requirements involving the Korean labor union for any legal and regulatory requirements and agreements.
