My goal once receiving a degree will be to open a dance studio that offers classes for everyone. I want to hold donation only classes and master classes that allow low income families to pay whatever they can afford to pay for the student to attend the class. I love dance with my soul, it is a passion I shared with my dad and one I now share with my baby sister. Anybody that loves dance as much as I do should be able to do it. I want to earn a degree in dance not only because it is my passion but because I know there are children that may never get to discover or pursue their passion for it because they don't have the money. I hope that through dance I can help to bring more opportunities to students with the same drive and love for dance that I have.
I have several experiences in working with children such as caring for my sibling, babysitting, volunteering at a family friend's daycare, and volunteering at the dance studio to help with camp.
I have been in many theatre performances on stage at Pleasant Valley High School and as a Theatre Major in middle school at AACMS.
