While attending Long County High School, I took a Business course for 3 semesters, including Introduction to Business, Business Technology, and Business Communications, from Fall of 2016 to Spring of 2019. This course provided opportunities to learn and experience a variety of topics in the field of business. Introduction to business is a course that has been designed to acquaint students with business terminology, concepts, and current business practices. The course led me to taking the test to verify my certification in Microsoft Word, and I passed. While consistently finishing the semester while being included into campus's other involvement selections.
To receive a Greenhand FFA Degree, members must meet the following requirements: Enroll in an agricultural education program and have satisfactory plans for a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Learn and explain the FFA Creed, FFA Mission and Motto, and FFA salute. Which I completed, amongst much more. I sold and advocated for meat sticks to be sold in our chapter's institution, and with as much success as we earned on that, we were able to sponsor our chapter's shirts and trips such as the ones we took my junior year to Covington, GA and Tifton, GA.
RESET is a group based in a church of Hinesville, GA named Live Oak. The church is ran by a group of members, with Lead Pastor Aaron Cowart and his wife, First Lady Christi Cowart. The RESET program is ran by Mrs. Hillary and Jarvis who are lead coordinators of the churches choir. The program is for children interested in the spread of gospel but as well as putting in effort to contribute to the community. Whether if it was to spread gospel or receive it, or even to touch an individual searching for help in their life. I was so fortunate enough to be apart of that group and found much more. It was subject to a family of faith helping people, religious or not. We traveled to other cities, sitting through sermons of other churches and communicating our ideas.
