Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) – Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
  • As a Marine Special Operations Team Commander deployed to West Africa, led the deployment and operations of 16 special operators. Managed the integration of African and European military partners and accountability of over $4,200,000 of specialized equipment. Coordinated efforts with senior US Embassy leaders and civilian aid organizations to support stability operations throughout West Africa.
  • Coordinated the movement and employment of 2,200 African military partners for participation in FLINTLOCK 2016- a 32 nation special operations exercise to promote cooperation among African and European allies and US Department of State stakeholders.
  • Deployed to Afghanistan in support of OPERATION FREEDOM'S SENTINAL as an Afghan Commando Special Operations Brigade-South (SOB-S) embedded advisor with Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan (SOTF-A). Responsible for the operational employment and strategic growth of Afghan Special Security Forces (ASSF) in Southern Afghanistan. Additionally, duties required the compilation and dissemination of daily operational summaries and partner force evaluations presented to the Commander of Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan.
  • As MARSOC East Coast Recruiting and Advertising Officer in Charge, managed the marketing and promotion of  the Special Operations career path, and recruited select individuals for attendance at Marine Special Operations Assessment and Selection.
Rifle Platoon Commander/Field Artillery Officer (MOS 0802), 09/2007 to 08/2011
United States Marine Corps – Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
  • As an embedded advisor with Afghan Border Police, led a 9 Marine detachment responsible for the development and employment of 64 Afghan Police officers in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Routinely led combat operations with Afghan allies and accompanying Marines.  
  • As an infantry platoon commander deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, managed the deployment, operations, and logistics of a 48 Marine rifle platoon. Coordinated and synchronized all efforts with accompanying Afghan security forces and NATO command elements. Participated in the battle of Marjah.
