2016-01341: Officer Involved Shooting, CMPD. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case and coordinated with the prosecutor's office and SBI Counsel for a scene "walk-through" in effort to allow the prosecutor to see the scene through the scope of a sniper's rifle. SAC Bridges also met with counsel for the family in this case maintaining a commitment to transparency during the fact finding stages.
2016-01441: Officer Involved Shooting, Cleveland County. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case and assisted the case agent with procuring a Portuguese interpreter for the family of the victim.
2016-01642: Officer Involved Shooting, Anson County. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case while participating interviews as the on scene supervisor. SAC Bridges met with the family of the victim through out this investigation.
2016-01922: Officer Involved Shooting, NCSHP. SAC Bridges received and coordinate a district response to the scene, addressing critical witness and the resources needed to document all witness accounts. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case.
2016-02120: Homicide of a Law Enforcement Officer. Shelby Police Officer Timothy Brackeen was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a subject. SAC Bridges coordinated a district response to manage the crime scene as well as identify witnesses. SAC Bridges worked closely with Chief Ledford and District Attorney Michael Miller through-out the fugitive tracking phase of the investigation and was able to sustain the Bureau's involvement in the most important case for the State of North Carolina in 2016. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case and continues to address case needs with the prosecutor's office as new witnesses are identified.
2016-02204: Officer Involved Shooting, CMPD. SAC Bridges received and responded to a request to investigate a fatal shooting involving CMPD. SAC Bridges coordinated with local, state and federal agencies to progress the investigation with precision. SAC Bridges reviewed all reports in this case. SAC Bridges managed the case needs while coordinating requests from Bureau administration.

2009-01594: ASAC Bridges coordinated and managed an officer involved shooting scene that encompassed a two block area and involved a house fire set by the victim prior to being killed by law enforcement. The body of the victim's girlfriend was discovered within the burned residence. ASAC Bridges managed three separate investigations for this one crime scene due to the multiple deaths and due to the victim firing a weapon at an officer who was also injured.
2010-01689: ASAC Bridges responded to the scene of a structure fire involving a vacant home owned by a NC Wildlife Officer. ASAC Bridges was able to manage the case progression with the local detectives, identifying inconsistencies in the officer's original statement. ASAC Bridges confronted the officer who confessed to starting the fire and he was subsequently charged. ASAC Bridges was able to convince the officer to return all money to insurance company as well as the lien holder.
2012-00712: ASAC Bridges received a report of missing drug and money evidence from the vault at the Lilesville Police Department. This evidence was part of a federal drug case that was pending appeal. ASAC Bridges interviewed the Chief of Police who confessed to taking the money to aid with personal financial problems. ASAC Bridges successfully convicted the former Chief of embezzlement.
2012-02119: ASAC Bridges responded to the scene of a stabbing death of an inmate at Lanesboro Correctional prison in Anson County. ASAC Bridges managed limited resources in this case while properly addressing critical crime scene concerns. ASAC Bridges was able to successfully convict three SUR-13 gang members of First Degree Murder while assisting the FBI in launching a federal investigation regarding the involvement of correctional officers in the murder.
2013-02142 : ASAC Bridges responded to the scene of a shooting death on a rural road in Anson County. ASAC Bridges managed limited resources through out the case progression and successfully identified a suspect. ASAC Bridges was able to persuade AT&T to maintain service to the victim's cell phone which was stolen from the scene. ASAC Bridges, through court orders was able to monitor and track the cell phone's movement . ASAC Bridges continued to call the cell phone daily until someone answered. This person further corroborated the identity of the suspect who was successfully charged and convicted of First Degree Murder.
2014-02179, 2014-02179, 2014-02198, 2014-0221, 2014-02235, 2014-02284: ASAC Bridges successfully created and received a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Anson County Sheriff's Office and Union County Sheriff's Office in effort to conduct street level operations between the counties.

Career Highlights as Special Agent
1999-01852, 1999-01869, 1999-01939, 1999-02172: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges served as lead investigator for organizing and guiding street level buys from a trafficking level target in Columbus County. This case resulted in a search
warrant being executed and the seizure of cocaine and approximately $24,000 in U.S. Currency.
2001-00363, 2001-00423: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges served as lead
investigator for drug trafficking target in Iredell County. Bridges provided surveillance reports, the
debriefing interviews and special funds to make several drug transactions with
two targets which resulted in the successful federal prosecution of both
targets by AUSA R. Higdon Jr.
2002-00186: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges developed a source of information in Iredell County. This source was able to introduce a local detective to two Hispanic males for the purpose of selling the undercover officer 9 ounces of cocaine. SA Bridges successfully worked this case from a tip to conviction and the seizure of 9 ounces of cocaine.
2003-00646: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges served as the lead undercover operative for CMPD during a sexual assault investigation involving a CMPD Officer as the suspect. Numerous women reported to CMPD that the officer was falsely arresting them and then raping the women. SA Bridges successfully engaged in a conversation with the CMPD Officer who solicited SA Bridges for sexual favors. The CMPD Officer was charged with solicitation and his law enforcement certification was revoked.
2002-02261: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges responded to a request to assist Concord PD with the shooting death of an eight month pregnant woman, Tara Chambers. Chambers' front door was kicked in during the early morning hours. Chambers was shot multiple times in front of her two grade-school aged children. The baby was delivered and only lived another month. SA Bridges received the request days after the shooting but was able to assist with progressing the case towards identifying a suspect. SA Bridges was able to obtain probable cause and arrest the father of the unborn child. The father is currently serving life in prison for the murder of Tara Chambers and her daughter Takia.
2002-03447: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges interviewed a Mecklenburg County Probation Officer who was accused of using money paid by probationers for his own personal use. SA Bridges was able to obtain a confession from the probation officer and successfully conclude the case with a conviction.
2003-00257: As a Special Agent, SA Bridges responded to a request to assist Cabarrus County Sheriff's office with a case of a woman reported missing. SA Bridges was able to identify inconsistencies in the husband's statement which led to the husband confessing to striking his wife over her head. The woman's body was located in a farm field. The husband pleaded guilty to First Degree Murder and currently is serving a life sentence.
