Additional Information
  • Studied abroad in Lima, Peru in March 2017 for 10 days. During this time I helped the less fortunate by providing them everyday essentials that they didn't have. I helped build comfortable homes for them by making homemade concrete and bending wire in order to keep a strong foundation and structure for the home. My classmates and I donated items such as soap, books for children, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
  • Studied abroad in Ascea, Italy in June 2019 for 22 days. The unique structure of this program offered the possibility to become acquainted with one of the most fascinating areas in Italy, allowing students to discover and explore the “Magna Graecia” using a strong experiential approach. My fellow classmates and I connected to multiple areas of inquiry (literary, historical, geographical, ethno- anthropological, gastronomical, and cultural) aiming to provide students with the tools to evaluate the modern world through the study of Western civilization.
  • Studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland in January 2020 for 10 days. During this time in Ireland, as a whole, my classmates and I focused on Dublin's fascinating history, architecture, and way of living. We visited many museums along with learning the famous traditions in Ireland that are known across the world. A main topic that was highly concentrated on was Ireland's Identity and what identity is. The overall Irish identity is based off of their cultures, way of life, and traditions. The subjects I studied were based off of the Irish culture, traditions and unique statements which are all what makes Ireland have it's own identity.
