In high school, I enriched myself in numerous clubs, allowing myself to make an impact inside and outside of the school environment. I was a technical manager for a locally student run news channel called Brunswick's The BEAT for a total of 5 years, having multiple articles published in well known and accredited newspapers within the community, as well as making several appearances on television for my work. I also enjoyed participating as the leading design editor for our multi-award winning yearbook staff fr 2 years, Brunswick High School Trident, affiliated with Josten's, as well as being a leader within HUDDLE, a club offered through my high school. My purpose was to be a role model to fifth graders in local elementary schools, whom we taught about the negative effects, leading causes, and consequences of drug and alcohol abuse, as well as guided them through the transition to middle school and taught them how to care for their mental and physical well-being. I was also a well accredited member of National Honors Society, with over 100 hours of accumulated community service with my junior and senior year, even with the obstacles produced by the sudden pandemic.
