or distribution system. - Knowledge in safety rules, codes, and regulations related to underground utilities operations.
- Principles and practices of developing teams, motivating employees and supervising in a team environment.
- Basic budgetary practices and terminology.
- Local sanitary sewer system, storm water systems including location of mains, laterals, manholes, valves, hydrants, etc.
- Methods and precautions in storing and handling hazardous chemicals.
- Codes and regulations related to the work.
- Standard collection process control and operational tests.
- Computer applications related to the work.
- Record keeping principles and practices.
- Construction coordination around collections systems and other city infrastructure.
- Reviewing and evaluating design drawings.
