Cell Phones Uniform & Rug Program, Vending Service, Two-Way Radios, Security & Fire System's for the Facility, Janitorial Service Planning of our employee events, AAP Tracking and assisting with the testing of applicants I also function as the back up for our A/P clerk, Receptionist, & HR Supervisor & Payroll Administrator I am trained to cover some of the duties of the supervisor, including taxes and various reports we changed our payroll system a couple year's ago so I am just now being trained again to run payroll as a backup.

As Payroll Administrator I was responsible for running the weekly payroll for over 200 employees. In this position I was responsible for all of the weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting. Nucor has each division handle all payroll at division level, then reports go to Corporate on a very tight time line. Our division always met our deadlines.
I was approached by the Controller when the A/P clerk resigned to see if I was interested in the position. After testing I was then offered the position. I was responsible for processing all invoices timely. The turn around time was quite challenging, to be able to pay the discount invoices within the 10 - 15 days. I was to enter invoices for payments and run the checks each Thursday. Checks were mailed each Friday morning.
I registered with Manpower after taking a year off from work when my daughter was born. A friend told me about Nucor Building Systems, and I had to register to try for the position. I registered and was hired as a long term temporary in the Purchasing dept. at Nucor Building Systems. I was responsible for relieving the steel inventory, as well as ordering the office supplies.
