This is a contracted position. I was working full-time, but now pick certain days a week to work as I am currently enrolled in Colorado Tech University to obtain my Masters Degree in Psychology.
I worked in the Mohave Mental Health outpatient clinic, SMI (Serious Mentally Ill) unit. When I left I had a caseload of 143 Clients.
My duties included:
This was a boys home for ages 8-18. It was a locked down facility. We worked with youth who were just out of juvenile prison to re-acclimate them to society and as they reached maturity we taught them adult responsibilities to live on their own. All of our clients were "Court-ordered". We also worked with youth and their families who were on their last chance in the Court system. They had to succeed in our program until they could be re-acclimated back to their homes if the Court deemed it.
I currently have a 4.0 Grade Point Average. I am enrolled in a program where I go directly into my Master's Degree through the University. I eventually will work on my Doctorate, as I would like to become a Psychologist.
