A motivated School Psychologist who helps students cope with academic and social pressures. Through my experience, I have developed excellent problem-solving, communication, and relationship building skills. Additional skills include proper evaluation for academic programs, procedures, and policy effectiveness as a team effort. I am a driven school psychologist in aiding children and youth with mental health challenges as well as realizing individual strengths and successes. I enjoy working with students of all backgrounds and all types of emotional, behavioral and academic needs. An intrinsic motivator for me is contributing to team success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. My program and experience has provided me with a clear understanding of Patterns of Strength and Weaknesses and training in SPED Law. I also have counseling experience with students experiencing a variety of challenges such as loss and grieving, victims of domestic violence, and/or academic needs. I have become knowledgeable in adolescent development, including social, behavioral, emotional and cognitive areas. I am a school psychologist that is motivated to learn, grow and excel in the SPED team.
