I served in the US Army as a Satellite Systems Operator since 2001. I went on four combat deployments to the Middle East, one temporary duty assignment as a system administrator in Germany and spent five months on a navy vessel as a system administrator, satellite systems operator, and COMSEC custodian. When I was in a non-deployed status i set up satellite systems, local networks, and computer systems to provide communication assets for company or battalion level leadership. I worked as a Detailed Recruiter for three years and was assigned the specialty of Future Soldier Manager, which is a position reserved for someone that has taken on the job description of Career Recruiter. I worked with new enlistees to prepare them physically and mentally for the rigors of basic combat training. I am always looking for something new and challenging to keep my mind sharp. I currently work for the 112th Signal Detachment under SOCPAC managing a team of 16 Soldiers preparing them for deployments in the Pacific theater whether they are planned or short suspense.
