What I would bring to the working table is hardworking, patience, trust, If any employer decided to give me a shot at a job anywhere they wouldn't be disappointed. I can do anything if I put my mind to it especially if I catch on to what I'm supposed to do on the job. See when I first started working at the library that was my first ever job I wasn't sure how I was going to do on the after awhile I got down what I was supposed to do. But at the end It didn't end very well at the library because I was new in the job environment. At the Mission it was my second job another internship I caught on basically right away because it wasn't really complicated at all compared to the library. I ended being a pretty dang good prep cook and server to the homeless. I did what I was told and I did it well. For my final job as a Salvation Army Bell Ringer I caught on right away and I did a really good job at getting donations and helping out for the cause.
All I can Say the only accomplishment I really accomplished When I was in school was my 8th grade year I made the honor roll. Another thing I can think of that I accomplished that I've had in my life that I can remember was I would go to the GoodWill Reach center. I had this women as my case worker so one 8 or 9 week period where I was in this program called the Y.A.G.O Class. What this was about was it was for young adults who needs help with getting jobs and help with all their requirements to help find jobs. I was even able to have my first 2 jobs of my life they were short internships. But my accomplishment from this is I was able to graduate from the class it wasn't easy to do there was a lot of tough requirements for the class to even graduate.
I would be outside of any grocery store and be in charge of taking care of my kettle. I would stand or sit and ring my bell and say merry Christmas and happy New Year and how are you doing. I would do all of this so I can try and make as much money in donations as I can in an 8 hour shift. I would also make sure nobody took my kettle because I would have been held very reliable.
I would help prepare food and clean up mess, cut up food and serve food to the homeless. I would stay for 8 hour shifts. I was a team player. I also would have to sweep some days and wash walls when it was needed to and do basically whatever they needed me to without hesitation I would do what was expected of me.
I was in charge of the Summer Reading Club where I would sit down and wait for people to walk up to me and have a reading log of at least 10 books that they read. Then they would have to tell me a little summary for each book that they read I would put all of their info in the computer that I had in front of me. Then I would issue prizes to them that they earned. The groups would range from Kids, Teens, Adults. Each Group would get different prizes and some people read well past 10 books. Another one of my duties was there was this oriental guy that was in charge of having me do projects for him. If I didn't do what he wanted me to do he would tell my bosses.
I didn't graduate from high school or I don't even have a G.E.D. I am currently looking for a job. Then in time if I can get some more work experience then I'll think about getting my G.E.D and possibly going to further my education in College.
