Sales RespresentativeJul 2016 to Mar 2017 Safelink Wireless － San Diego, CASafelink Wireless is a company that offers free phone service to people that have the required qualifications - including services like Medicare, EBT, and WIC. Working as a sales representative for Safelink Wireless, my task was to get people to sign up with our company. Since there are many other companies similar to Safelink Wireless, I dealt with a high amount of competition. Working in sales, not only did I become highly experienced in sales, I was also able to develop my communication and customer service skills, due to the fact that my job revolved around talking to hundreds of people every day. Prior to this job, I had no experience in the sales department. However, shortly after starting the job, I was one of the top sales representatives in the San Diego office. Since we got paid based off commission only, my income was dependent on my performance. I become one of the top producers in the San Diego office shortly after my starting date.

Activities and Honors
Hermano Unidos at UCSB - a non-profit organization on campus that aims at providing academic and personal support in order to assure graduation among the members of the organization and the community. Through this organization, I learned about event planning, fundraising, and outreach, since we also focus on empowering and giving back to our community through events such as CLOP - a program where we bring over a hundred high school students in unrepresentative areas to UCSB for 3 days in order for them to learn more about college and give them the tools necessary to pursue higher education. Since we are a non-profit organization, we had to fund raise in order to make all of our events happen.
Environmental Affairs Board - focus on bring environmental awareness among our community and push for improvement in our school campus regarding environmental issues - such as energy/waste management.
