From the fall of 2019 to the fall of 2020 I attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a major of Pre-Nursing Intent.
The course consisted of lectures, discussions, role playing with models, skill training labs and a clinical phase. Course lecture included HIPPA Privacy Regulations. Skills learned included taking vitals and assisting with activities of daily living. Through the class I was certified as a American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider.
As of the spring semester of 2021 I'm going to PPCC seeking an associates degree in the surgical technology field.
