I have extensive experience in customer service ranging from fast food management to retail management. I have also had my own business as a licensed cosmetologist.
My responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting customers by phone and in person. I assist customers in their purchases by offering product knowledge and technique information. I assist management in inventory control, merchandising, stocking products, tags and markdowns. I open or close store and do daily deposits. I achieve company sales goals and quotas. I ring up customer transactions in a quick and efficient manner.
My responsibilities were to open and close the store, daily deposits, sort through donations and stock store with chosen donations. I assisted customers in their purchases and rang up their orders.
I began at Customer Service and was promoted to supervisor. There my responsibilities included assisting customers in several areas such as answering phone inquiries,money orders, money grams, refunds and exchanges, complaints, lotto sales, event ticket sales, one hour photo, and more. I wrote department schedule and orders department supplies. When promoted to Front End Manager I supervised all cashiers and courtesy clerks on my shift. I dealt with customer issues at the register, relieved cashiers for all breaks, and trained associates in all new company policy and procedures. I handled all the store money during my shift and made daily deposits. I ordered supplies and helped with writing schedule for department.
I leased a station in the salon and was responsible for my own business. I booked appointments, kept a work inventory, did all paperwork and quarterly taxes for my business. and performed all services on clients.
I studied for 2000 hours to receive my certificate as a licensed cosmetologist. I was trained to cut hair, color and perm hair, artificial nails, makeup application and much more.
