I completed the ITIL foundations course necessary for my new role.
I consistently attend the CAB meetings when needed, update the Access db on a daily basis as well as provide rfc's for new and emergent changes.
I perform weekly review of all IT problems for accuracy of description, category, priority/ Weekly review of all problem for timely and adequate root cause analysis. I follow up with problem owners/assignees as necessary. prepare and distribute Service Quality reports for weekly meeting. I hold weekly service quality meetings. Follow up as necessary with Owners and assignees. I prepare and distribute post meeting communication.
I participate in all Lawson IT system testing, including: Batch and Regression Testing. I maintain test plans, test scripts, and documentation of test results/reports for compliance with QA standards. I utilize IBM Rational Functional tester products to identify program processing errors and reviews for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards.
I create and review all purchase requisitions for accuracy and transmit to vendor within 48 hours of receipt. I review vendor's order confirmation and confirm PO price within 24 hours. I negotiate pricing with vendors. and communicate price discrepancies to Contract Manager for resolution. I communicate any pricing variances to the customer, delivery issues, or any requested information within twenty-four hours. I review and resolve buyer messages/invoice discrepancies. I inform the Contract mMnager of any credit hold situation that cannot be resolved within one business day. I expedite purchase orders to assure deliveries meet customer requirements. I recommend cost savings opportunities to Contract Managers and assist in their implementation.
I also solicit vendor bids and provide written analysis for management review.I provide monthly activity reports to Contract Manager.
I procure goods and services for assigned departments on a daily basis. This includes the timely processing of all assigned purchase requisitions. I reviewed, execute and negotiate all requisitions and contracts which included blanket orders, service agreements and one time purchases. I Investigate and expedite outstanding purchase orders for assigned departments. I act a s a liaison between vendors, Accounts Payable, and assigned UPHS departments in the resolution of pricing discrepancies between purchase agreements/contract purchase orders.
I am responsible for client relations, opportunities identification, employee performance, salary recommendations, training development and plan approval, team and individual employee meetings. I am responsible for the tracking of systems support project revenues, profits and expenses. I also monitor and manage other human resources issues including resource allocation and act as a liaison between service areas and practices. I assist in benefits coordination and salary approvals. I have actively participated in the generation of revenue exceeding 2.5million dollars annually through billing of consultant services.
