  • Managed team of 5, myself, 1 Improvement Advisor, and 3 Data Architects'.
  • Team was responsible for pulling data for the organization to look at various Quality Issues, Regulatory issues and to answer questions as needed.
  • Pulled, cleaned and upload data from several sources into several databases and into Qlik. Linked data, when possible, even if there isn't a clear patient identifier throughout each data-set.
  • Qlik is the BI tool the organization utilized to make decisions and to monitor any quality or regulatory issues with real-time look.
  • Looked at issues in our practices as well as internally within the main hospital.
  • Pulled the CMS dataset and utilize their methodology to look at PSI's and HACS's (Patient Safety Indicators and Hospital Acquired Conditions).

  • Our team built and maintains Microsoft Access Database that contains all of the provider's including the Allied Health Professionals. Utilizing this made it possible to query and pull specific information from the database.
  • I was responsible for pulling and uploading several datasets to several registries and CMS.
  • Quality Measures data- I uploaded this to IBM Watson and then notified the abstractors that the data had been entered. I then would monitor each quarter for completeness prior to the CMS and Joint Commission lock dates. We would make modifications to the data pulls as the measure elements changed. I was also responsible for obtaining and uploading charts to for CMS Quality Validation Audits.
  • I would pull lists required for NHSN and would upload them to the NHSN site. (National Healthcare Safety Network). I would then alert the Infection Prevention Team that the denominator data for each measure had been uploaded and ready to enter infection information if necessary.
