Provide conscious sedation services to patients undergoing gastrointestinal diagnostic and intervention procedures.
Perform preprocedure moderate sedation assessment which includes patient's physical status, medication history and allergies, history of adverse reactions with sedation or analgesia, relevant diagnostic studies and histories and verification of NPO status and bowel preparation adherence. Participate in and verify informed consent and time out procedure.
