Retail Management - Increased Net Sales by 20.03% in two years in the largest Allen Marine Tours port, Juneau. Coordinated the supply and demand of handcrafted locally produced products in the remote ports of Southeast Alaska including, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, Hoonah, Gustavus, and Yakutat. Managed and merchandised 18 vessels with locally sourced merchandise, plus the Orca Point Lodge gift shop on remote Colt Island. Lead the research and development of new products and seeking new Southeast Alaskan artists and vendors. Motivated the 250 vessel crew members to surpass sales goals. Performed behavior and performance based coaching conversations and documentation. Organized, and chartered recruiting events in Juneau and traveled to colleges around the country conducting presentations and table events for seasonal employment opportunities. Developed new and improved systems for accurate inventory, and retail pricing margins. Increased margins. Ultimately pursued resolutions to achieve the highest level quality of guest satisfaction and vendor relationships.
Supply Management - Managed a warehouse with 6-8 employees with inventory management, supply chain management, and accounting and finance simultaneously with Retail Management Role. Trained all employees on forklift, equipment and safety operations. Shipping and receiving palletized freight from alcohol, to smoked salmon, to cleaning supplies. Regulated DEC code in warehouse and food storage guidelines. Managed payroll, interviewing/hiring, scheduling and weekly check ins on performance with team.

Job responsibilities include allocating payroll and scheduling for four store departments (grocery, hard lines, electronics, and cosmetics). Hiring, interviewing, and recruiting storewide. Conducting and documenting performance, conduct, and attendance behaviors. Direct response for guest concerns and inquires. Pushing freight, merchandising sales floor and driving sales. Strategizing new and innovative ideas to execute in the business operation to become more efficient and effective. Providing an unsurpassed level of guest experience.
Back to College Events > 2016 and 2017 – Partnering with local college boards including Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, and Seattle Central Community College hosting a coupon event for college students for back to school supplies. $30,000 raised in 2016 - $50,000 raised in 2017.
Summer Intern Mentor > Hosted an intern in 2017, educated and trained them towards becoming an Executive Team Lead upon their graduation for 10 weeks. Daily and weekly check in performance conversations. Only three Executive Team Leads are chosen out of the district to host mentors, district includes all stores ranging from Bellingham to Vancouver.
Intern Recruiting Committee > Responsible for the set up and organization of recruiting events, classroom presentations, and resume critiques at the Business College of the University of Washington. Provided exceptional insight to careers for graduating students and students eligible for internship programs at Target both at store and distribution level.

Job Responsibilities - In addition to all job responsibilities of Sales Associate, interviewing/hiring, training and onboarding of Assistant Managers and Sales Associates district wide, acting Store Manager in Store Managers absence. Scheduling, corrective behavioral or performance based conversations and documentation, daily/weekly/monthly/annual sales goals, payroll, deposits, opening and closing operations and cash outs.
Accomplishments - Worked for Famous Footwear for five years, acting Store Manager at 17 years of age, increased all sales goals by 20%, managed stores in multiple locations including Tukwila, Auburn, Federal Way, Renton and Bellingham.
Naturalizer - Assisted with all management job responsibilities of stores in Tukwila and Auburn during management transition phases while also working at above Famous Footwear locations.
