Friendly, motivated, and driven student with a reputation for exceeding all performance benchmarks in retail, volunteer, and academic settings. Independent worker with great communication and organizational skills.
This was a summer-working job only, led by the owners of the Adventure Store. The camp was open to children of all ages to explore more about the ecology of Northeast Georgia. Every day was a new activity, such as collecting river samples, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
Because I had some extra free time at school, I was able to organize with teachers at the local elementary school (Cornelia Elementary) as well at my school to arrange for me a time to help a first-grade teacher in the mornings. It started out as a tutor/mentor to children who were struggling with math, and I ended up teaching math lessons to the entire class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this volunteer gig was cut short.
Because the Adventure Store was a small, locally-owned business, I was the only employee that was not direct family of the owners, meaning I ran the store and the social media most of the time.
